Last Thursday (23rd September 2021) was our annual Photograph of The Year competition, where members of the club are invited to submit their best images from those previously entered into competition during 2020/21 season for this season finale.
Our images were expertly judged by Dennis Russ LRPS, AFIAP, AWPF, CPAGB, BPE1*. The standard was of course very high and from the 50 entries Dennis selected:
3rd – Red Rose by Dave Barton
2nd – Self Portrait by Andre Van de Sande
1st – Neon Runner by Niall
“Handrail” by Dave Russell, ‘The mushroom family” by Jeff Howe & “Pistyll Cain Waterfall (North Wales)” by Chris Chinnick were also highly commended (HC)
Congratulations go to the top three photographers but especially to Niall who also won this years Photographer of The Year competition.
For the 2021/22 season we will be return to DPI and Print competitions so dust off those cameras, printers and lenses and get out there!
