3rd place in the 2021 Memorial trophy

As with so much of life the current social restrictions have meant changes to the WPF Memorial Trophies contests. So, this year, we had two simple digital contests (monochrome & colour) scored by a single judge. Our Judge for this year was Eddy Lane ARPS DPAGB EFIAP. The contest was held yesterday (17th January 2021) over Zoom with 21 clubs participating.

Monochrome contest

Cardiff put in a strong showing in the monochrome contest. Our photographs scored constantly highly and we enjoyed joint 3 place overall. The details of our scores are below

Colour contest

Here, Cardiff did less well overall than in the mono competition being placed equal 8th. Despite this Jeff Howe’s photograph “Harrier landing” scored maximum points – well done Jeff.
