Cardiff camera club hosted our annual battle with Gwent Photography Society on Thursday 13th June 2024. We had a good turn out from both clubs – nice to see Gwent members so smartly turned out in their club shirts. The print and digital competition was ably judged by David Bennett. Gwent had entered a very strong print selection and were ahead at half time. Both clubs were better matched in the digital section but in the end Gwent were deserving winners. The final scores were:
Cardiff – 355 points
Gwent – 363 points
We had three photographs that scored maximum marks. From the print section “Atrium” by Chris Chinnick and from the digital section “Dream of escape” by Tim Stephens and “Leaning into the bend” by Niall.
