Barry photo marathon 2020 success

A photo marathon can be a great (but exhausting) experience. Our member Anne Phillips enjoys a challenge so entered the recent Barry Photo marathon. It was a long day but worthwhile when your entry achieves first place in the 12 hour section – well done Anne.

Cardiff bay meet

Continuing our efforts to provide members with an opportunities to meet the club organised a photoshoot in Cardiff Bay. The weather was once again kind to us with the rain staying away and providing a great sunset. The meet was popular with members catching up and creating some great photographs. All in all an enjoyable event.

Welsh salon 2020 success

We are very proud of Tim Stephens and Andre Van de Sande for gaining acceptances into the 2020 Welsh Salon of Photography organised by the WPF – well done both. Both gained acceptance in the PDI section Tim for “Mystic Tresaith” and Andre for “Self portrait”

St. Fagans meet

After many months of social restrictions the club has started to meet outside to make photographs and have a chin wag. For this meet up we took advantage of the partial opening of the St Fagans National Museum of History for an afternoon of photograph making and catch up. A good number of members attended and the weather treated us kindly. You can see some of the photographs taken during the visit below.
