On 18-OCT-2024 Barry camera club hosted our annual battle. Each club presented 10 prints and 10 digital photographs which were awarded a score by the judge for the evening, Paul Branchflower. There was a wide range of photography on show and it was a great opportunity to chat with those who made the photographs – especially the more unusual subjects. Cardiff won both the print and digital sections so it was a comfortable win. The final scores (out of 400) were:
Cardiff 356
Barry 333
A number of our photographs were awarded top marks:
“Rope and barrels” by Jeff Howe (Best monochrome print & Judges favourite photograph)
“Dream of escape” by Tim Stephens
“Painted Stork” by Trevor Waller (Best colour digital)
“Shopper at market” by Trevor Waller (Best monochrome digital)
